Vice President of Technical Services

Reporting to the Head of Operations EMEA, the Vice President of Technical Services is responsible for the day-to-day engagement for the coordination of Technical Services support (Product-Risks) through the General Manager Product-Risks US and the Account Manager Product-Risks UK.

* Responsible for the recruitment of, and engagement & communication with, all technical 3rd-party consultants utilized by iJET.

* Identify and develop materials and sources for the necessary Thought-Leadership, professional marketing, business-development and technical profile of iJET product risks practice.

* Act as the primary POC for mitigation & crisis-response services.

Responsibilities

* Day-to-day engagement with General Manager Product-Risks US and the Account Manager Product-Risks UK.

* Global Responsibility for the recruitment of, engagement and communication with, all technical 3rd-party consultants.

* Identify and develop materials and sources for the necessary Thought-Leadership, professional marketing, business-development and technical profile of iJET product risks division: to include

* Webinar & Video briefing/training content

* White-Papers on topical product-risks trends and issues

* Case-study reports and presentations

* Horizon-Scanning for emerging product-risks issues and service innovations

* Identify and interpret the evolving market, customer and competitor trends with the product-risk management sector, communicate them within the product-risks practice and contribute towards the development of an effective go-to-market strategy

* Market Trends research

* Ability to work in a remote capacity, at the Manager's discretion

Experience

* Demonstrable track record of successful multi-client portfolio management for technical services delivery and consultancy

* Experience of working with both insurance, risk management and corporate clients within the crisis-management sector

* Working knowledge of collaboration and proactive engagement with marketing campaigns, product & service development and business improvement plans at a both an execution and strategic level

* Experience of delivering Client and prospect RFI, RFP Technical service written responses

* Experience of providing technical report or expert-witness testimony in relevant consumer-goods/food-safety litigation or arbitration proceedings

* Strong strategic thinking, target orientation, problem solving and analytical skills

* High profile networking ability and confidence with senior customer decision makers

* Ability to stay up to date with the latest innovations, changes in competition, and shifts in the market

Education, Qualifications & Requirements

* MSc qualification in food-chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, environmental agriculture or FMCG related disciplines

* Certification as lead auditor or trainer in at least two of the following:

* ISO9001 Quality Management Systems

* ISO10393 Consumer Product Recall Guidance

* HACCP

* TACCP or VACCP

* ISO22000 Food safety Management System

* BRC Global Standard for Food Safety

* Ability to provide portfolio of published academic, peer-review and/or conference presentation materials from the last 10-years

* Capability to work alongside strong personalities and be poised under pressure in deadline driven and demanding environment

* Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check

* Ability to develop and implement internal and client-facing technical quality-assurance business process and procedures.

* Demonstrable experience of providing technical and statutory-compliance technical advice to clients during product-safety and/or product-recall crisis-incidents

* Competent ICT skills (Microsoft Office; Sharepoint, Microsoft-Teams etc.)
