Associate Coordinator - Security Control Center

About the Position:

This position willensure that all SCC monitoring and notification processes, policies andprocedures are executed properly during assigned shift. This position entailsshift work involving monthly schedule rotations for day, evening, nights, weekendsand holidays.

Position Responsibilities (includingbut not limited to):

* Dispatchappropriate security personnel, or law enforcement officers to investigatealarms.

* Provideinstructions to security guard as necessary.

* WriteIncident Reports and Service Tickets.

* Disseminatenotifications of credible threats as instructed by the Senior SecurityManagement or established protocols.

* Coordinatesecurity operations with gas/electric control centers to ensure compliance withUS and UK Corporate Emergency Planning policy and procedures.

* Capable individual that isable to critically think in difficult circumstances and incidents.


* DirectReports – none

* Direct Responsibilities-ensures that all policy and procedures are executed correctly during theirassigned shifts under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.


Internal: All company Electric and Gas Control CentersManagers and Supervisors ex: ESO, GSO, TCC, Critical Site FSO's, LOB's (UScompany-wide), regarding security related matters. Make notifications to US andUK Global Security Regional Managers, Regulatory Manager, Technical SupportManager, Investigators.

External: Local, State and Federal law enforcement,Regional Contract Security Guard Providers, and Regulatory agencies regardingsecurity related events.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

* AssociateDegree in related field of study or 2 years of security related experience.

* Goodwritten and oral communication skills

* Workingknowledge of corporate security computer systems, including electronic accesscontrols, intrusion detection alarms and closed circuit TV.

* Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office products, familiarity with standard securitycommunication protocols and equipment, and a demonstrated ability to performmultiple tasks in a challenging environment.
