Providence is calling a full time, day shift Nurse (RN or LVN) to Providence St. Elizabeth Care Center in North Hollywood, California.

We are seeking a Nurse (RN or LVN) who will provide and supervise professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients, that is as evidence-based as possible. In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care within the scope of licensure (either LVN/LPN or Registered Nurse)
  • Provide patient care in the nursing home environment

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Candidates:
    • Education - Education sufficient for licensure
    • Licensure - Current unencumbered California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Candidates:
    • Education - Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
    • Licensure - Current unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from the American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing for Registered Nurse candidates
  • At least one (1) year long term care experience
