Product Specialist

Watts Water Technologies, Inc. North Andover, MA
The Product Specialist provides daily and ongoing product and project support to the Product Management team including monthly and quarterly financial sales and margin tracking and analysis, new product development interdepartmental project interface, customer support and quotation assistance, Sales group assistance as it relates to product issues, and field support at trade shows and where needed to support product lines.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Creates and maintains monthly and quarterly financial analyses for sales and margin tracking for the Product Management team, including preparation and distribution of reports
  • Develops and maintains product trend analyses
  • Researches and tracks new product developments and advises on industry technologies and trends
  • Assists Product Managers in daily maintenance issues including customer quotations, administrative, quality, and logistics issues
  • Acts as team interface at interdepartmental project meetings where necessary
  • Assists at trade shows and on field sales and service calls where necessary
  • Manages NPI interface for PM team
  • Manages and assists in development of communications and marketing collateral
  • Assists in intercompany and field product training
  • Manages special team projects as they arise
  • Other duties as they arise

MANAGEMENT:

  • No direct reports

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business/Marketing or Engineering
  • Master of Science or MBA - plus

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of related product experience either in a marketing/financial analysis or design engineering role
  • Competency in financial reporting and analysis, sales and margin tracking and report development
  • High level of time management/project and task completion proficiency
  • Technical or industry related sales experience helpful
  • Outstanding oral and written communication proficiency
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment
  • Ability to work in well in a team environment
  • Good leadership skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Ensure company policies are followed
  • Enforce company safety policies
  • 10% Travel
