The Technical Project Management Specialist I perform research functions, analyze data, and provide customer service and support; coordinate and apply program guidelines to project delivery; and assist in planning and delivery of operational activities and services; identify discrepancies and resolve problems based on objective opinion and on state and federal operational and regulatory issues.

Required Education: Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:

* 12-18 months coordination of a technical project

Skills:

* Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English

* Basic computer skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Customer service

* Must be able to perform basic data analysis

Advertised Physical Requirements:

* Operations conducted in a restricted workspace due to information security requirements. Ability to engage in repetitive motions including movements of the hands, wrists or fingers. Ability to touch including finger dexterity. Ability to speak including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others. Ability to hear including receiving detailed information orally or making fine discriminations in sound. Ability to work behind secured closed doors.

Departmental Preferences:

* Experience in research, program evaluation, data analysis & interpretation

* 24-36 months experience in coordination of a technical project
