Distribution Center Associate

DC Associate will assist with several key areas of Alternative's Distribution Center. The DC Associate will play an integral role in delivering the superior customer experience Alternative's customers have come to expect. They will ensure that all shipments are readied for shipment to our customers in the most efficient manner.

ResponsibilitiesFollow printed and electronically transmitted work instructions to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and meet same day goals.Experienced in or willing to learn and drive forklift and cherry picker.Finish goods per customer instructions (Tag, Fold, Bag, Etc.).Willingness to change priorities throughout the day as volume changes.Hit and/or exceed metrics for sales channels.Function as a flexible member of a team to meet and exceed customer expectations.Maintain assigned area in a safe and clean manner.Display a willingness to learn and grow within our organization.Performs related duties when assigned.Qualifications

* 2-3 years' experience in a distribution environment is required.

* Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.

* Working knowledge of Excel

* Basic mathematical proficiency.

* Willingness to learn or previous ability to use a forklift and order picker.

* Ability to use order picker up to a height of 25' with the potential for counting, loading, and unloading of cartons at that height required.

* Ability to consistently lift up to 25 lbs.

* Strong work ethic.
