The Manager of Global Merchandising for Wholesale will act as the credible voice of Global Merchandising in their respective businesses, leading and executing the merchandising vision for Crocs, the industry-leading casual footwear brand specializing in comfortable, fun, innovative and irreverent product lines designed to surprise and delight our millions of loyal Crocs fans and future Crocs fans.

The Manager of Global Merchandising supports the Director in executing plans and tactics that support the global merchandising vision, strategy and assortment plan for Wholesale channels. They support regional teams in the go-to-market process and analyze results for wins to leverage, opportunities to fill, and misses to avoid. The Manager supports our regional teams to achieve brand and revenue goals by making success inherently simple with effective process design, easy to use sales tools, clear communication, and high responsiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the implementation of global tools and processes that drive brand cohesion and alignment to the strategic merchandising plan.

Implement process best practices that support a Merchant culture that is customer focused and data driven—maximizing the business with a relentless focus on key performance indicators.

Clear, quick and regular communication with key global and regional cross-functional partners.

Support manager in system updates to accurately present global wholesale segmentation for merchants and sales teams.

Gain a current in-depth understanding of the wholesale landscape in key global markets and indentify and validate product needs, opportunities and gaps.

Support go-to-market process with early integration with marketing partners and early identification of sell-in and sell-through support needs.

Collaborate cross-functionally to create optimal footwear assortments and strategies that support growth and brand objectives.

Provide a clear point of view on individual SKU commerciality and contribute to the finalization of the global all channel assortment including colorwarys, suggested retails prices and marketing style selection.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

5-7 years of progressive experience in merchandising, product creation and/or retail; footwear experience preferred

Wholesale specific planning or merchandising experience preferred.

Proven track record of developing and executing a successful merchandising strategy

Proven ability to manage an open to buy process, exceptional retail math skills

Proven ability to successfully work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment

Knowledge of international fashion/trends with the ability to translate into commercial concepts

Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Fluency in English required; Fluency in Japanese, Korean, or Chinese a plus.
