Production Engineer- Newport, DE Where the Chemistry Happens We are searching for a professional like you who will support daily facility operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that quality products are manufactured safely, in an environmentally sound manner, efficiently, and on time. Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Formula for Success Leveraging your proven educational and professional background in an Engineering discipline, you will own and define process safety hazard analysis, EHS operating systems, and manage documentation such as piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Your strong project management skills will be a valued asset as you manage capital project development, including project scope and justification, for small local projects, as well as serve as the manufacturing representative on large capital project design teams. Your working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes will be useful as you identify improvement opportunities, develop and execute a plan to achieve them in a cost-effective and timely manner, and engage with senior leadership to sell the plan. As a trusted resource for technical/problem-solving expertise, you will successfully assure the effectiveness and accuracy of operating procedures, and develop and implement Management of Change (MoC) protocols.
