Associate Business Analyst

Broadridge is growing! We are currently seeking sharp, business minded and motivated self starters to join our Professional Services team in Newark, NJ.

As an Associate Business Analyst you will learn the consulting business -- together with project management, business analysis, and domain expertise. You will be responsible for supporting projects, crafting data, and documenting information regarding various business and technical processes. It is a client facing role responsible for working with different departments internally and externally within the Financial Services industry by collecting and organizing information in support of project work. You should have some experience or a basic understanding of Capital Markets, Asset Management and/or Wealth Management. This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn and grow within Broadridge.

Typical applicants will possess 0-1 years of relevant experience with BA/BS Degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or Mathematics.

Job Responsibilities:

* Provides technical and business support for Project Manager and Consultants on projects

* Assists in assessments/discovery with regard to business and system architecture at the client

* Acts as liaison for the project team in meeting with various internal and client departments

* Assists in the preparation of recommendations for process, control changes, and improvements in an effort to achieve desired end state

* Assists Senior BAs in the creation of current state and future state documentation

* Assists Workstream Manager with solution design

* Prepares documentation including process flows, controls, assessments, business requirements, test scripts

* Executes test scripts, which may include some data entry, with an eye toward mastering product knowledge

* Prepares project documentation and presentations for meetings, including meeting notes and issue logs

* Assists with internal documentation creation and archiving

* Preferred Qualifications:

* 4 year College Degree in Business (Economics, Finance), Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science

* Some financial industry experience

* Excellent written and oral communications skills

* Ability to prepare client-facing and project documents
