This is an exciting opportunity to work on the most cutting edge projects in current Healthcare Information Technology for one of the best hospitals in the country. We are seeking a talented experienced UI Designer with Sharepoint Development background to become a part of our high performing Web Development Team. Our intranet is a very dynamic and important system developed as modern responsive website providing best-in class features and optimal user experience to our staff. As a User Experience expert with NYP, you will be taking a leading role in setting up the future direction and day to day development of our Intranet and multiple other exciting and innovative systems. The successful candidate is a self-starter with excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills and passion for innovative user-centered design and current and emerging UX/UI trends.

Preferred Criteria

* Three to five years of web design and development experience as a hands-on developer driving the product from conceptual design to successfully launched web, mobile and software solution.

* Solid experience in creating wireframes, site maps, visual prototypes

* Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or other visual design and wire-framing tools

* Advanced knowledge developing software using HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript

* Fluency in responsive design, mobile/tablet UI UX

* Strong knowledge of SP2013 Forms, Libraries, List, Sites and Workflows

* Strong knowledge of SP Designer and customizing SharePoint 2013

* Microsoft and other technical certifications are not required but highly desired

* Portfolio of previous projects should be included as a part of resume.
