Based in Queens, New York , you will lead the execution of installation supervision, site testing and commissioning of PTC (Positive Train Control) LIRR and MNR projects. You also will ensure successful and on time commissioning of integrated PTC system. You will manage two teams of installation technicians and site test engineers and you will ensure teams are staffed and have the right competence to execute installation supervision, site test and commissioning.

You also will prepare, execute and update the site test plan for each railroad in accordance with the test strategy and you will ensure HSE (Health and Safety Environment) rules are followed by the ITC team on site.

In your role you will:

* Planning of activities and resources, ITC team management, project team meetings, prepare KPIs, weekly reports and interface Customer;

* Prepare time schedules for installation supervision, testing and commissioning in coordination with the System Integrator and Subsystem Leads. Prepare list of functions to be tested, subsystems involved and resource need;

* Ensure execution of installation supervision, testing and commissioning: provide directions to ITC Leads and site test team and ensure they perform the required tasks on time and in compliance with the planning. Collaborate with Project Engineer, System Engineering, Subsystem Leads, System Integration and Test, Verification Safety and Validation (including representatives of other suppliers), to ensure efficient planning and execution of Site Integration and Test strategy;

* Ensure all non-conformities (defects) are timely reported. Ensure test results are correctly and completely documented in test reports. Communicate with the relevant parties in Engineering to investigate test issues and failures and support the identification of their causes;

* Ensure ITC team onsite follows the Health and Safety rules. Ensure proper Quality and Configuration management of ITC documentation. Ensure all installed assets are captured in MAXIMO. Ensure correct test configuration records.

As our ideal candidate:

* You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.;

* You have experience in system integration, interface management, laboratory integration testing and site integration testing and commissioning activities for a signalling system;

* You own good understanding of signalling systems functionality, operation and general understanding of the rail industry;

* You have knowledge or relevant experience in Engineering, Testing, Verification and Validation;

* You possess excellent team leadership, Problem solving and planning skills;

* You own good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interface internal and external customers, including technicians, engineers and middle management;

* Your English communication skills are excellent both written and spoken.
