GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Sr.Content Strategist is responsible for developing brand-elevating and customer-relevant storytelling that drives customer engagement and ultimately builds equity and loyalty for Victoria's Secret Beauty.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Works in partnership with Product Design to take product concepts and expand upon into a clear and coherent set of customer-facing stories

* Partners within Victoria's Secret Beauty and Pink Beauty Marketing to create strong content plans that will help support marketing strategies across all customer touch points

* Partners with Design and AVP Marketing in developing Creative briefs

* Collaborates with Creative teams from brief to shoot to ensure consistency of approach; has the agility to pivot based on internal and/or external changes

* Builds compelling sets of stories leveraging the content produced by creative to support product launches; quick to adapt/implement learnings from customer responses to our campaigns/initiatives and changes in culture zeitgeist

* Partners with AVP Marketing and Marketing team on blue sky ideation to produce powerful, cut through narratives that can change the beauty conversation around our brands

* Leverages customer insights, social listening, fashion/beauty/culture trends to develop an understanding of what is most relevant to our audiences; shares it generously with teams

* Contributes as a key player on the Beauty Marketing team, helping grow the Victoria's Secret Beauty, Pink Beauty and Accessories businesses and increase awareness of our beauty offerings

* Provides competitive input and recommends strategies accordingly

* Works with copywriters to develop strong copy points of view for beauty, respecting the unique needs of each category and under the guardrails of the master brands

* Actively participates in brainstorming sessions and mines for innovation

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES:

* 7-10 years' experience in editorial or creative in beauty/fashion or related field

* Strong creative thinker who can ideate around an existing concept, pitch and develop stories that are fresh, clear and customer-relevant

* Ability to spot trends & bring them to life; acute sensibility for all things fashion, beauty & culture

* Motivated to perform in a fast-paced environment

* Highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible and agile

* Proven multi-tasking ability and strong project management skills

* Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach

* Ability to navigate an organization and build consensus across multiple levels and partners

* Experience in Marketing within a vertically integrated retailer is a plus

* Involve occasional travel
