Security Operations Lead

Job Overview:

The Security Operations Lead is responsible for providing leadership, vision and direction for both his team members and other business units while working cross-functionally to solve problems, implement changes ensuring appropriate and professional communication among stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with other operations teams to ensure successful implementation of security strategies and architectures for enterprise applications and infrastructure.

* Prioritize workflow and help establish and enforce policy and procedure

* Coordinate evidence/data gathering, documentation and review of Security Incident reports

* Evaluate progress and quality, manage issue resolution process and take corrective action, as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:

* As assigned by the Supervisor

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Must be able to and manage technical staff, assess risk and communicate with both technical and managerial resources.

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

* 5+ years of experience in a project management role

* Experience in a leadership role, providing direction to a team for managing people, employee career development, team building, and conflict resolution.

* Deep knowledge of vulnerability testing, mitigation strategies and IT security concepts.

* Demonstrated knowledge of IT processes and procedures, specifically incident, problem, change and service level management
