Product Research Specialist (Alternative Investments)
West Coast / East Coast openings
Deeply learn platform-approved funds from 40+ managers across hedge funds, private equity/credit funds and real estate funds, then help sales team understand/position products for sales to RIA clients. Strong written/verbal communication skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop expertise on all firm investment products/lines of business
Interface regularly/articulately with fund managers to identify client needs/ensure satisfaction
Update distribution team on portfolio positioning/macroeconomic themes/key selling points to ensure unified sales effort
Provide value-added manager feedback/support to Alternative Investments team
Coordinate/execute tailored product launch strategies; help build go-to-market strategy
Schedule/host fund manager weekly update calls
Manage bi-monthly website/performance updates
Assist in planning/execution of roadshows/conferences and creation of product marketing collateral
Work closely with Director of Product and Head of Alternative Investments
Special projects/additional responsibilities based on capacity/skill/interest
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Bachelor’s degree in business/economics/finance/related discipline
Strong organizational/interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision and high attention to detail, think critically and synthesize information; self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environment
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Salesforce
