WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator to join our team in our New York City Headquarters. This Product Development Coordinator will be part of an engaging and upbeat team to ensure custom Knot Standard garments are submitted efficiently and correctly. As a key Production team member, you will be accountable for reviewing clients' measurement and customization information and entering client orders to our vendors worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

* Providing a high level of data entry proficiency and accuracy

* Communicating daily with international mills, overseas tailoring facilities, and internal Knot Standard teams on all development and merchandising projects

* Working with our Creative Director on research and development of fabric inventory and qualities

* Executing the Knot Standard garment processing from receipt through production, quality control and shipping

* Overseeing the creation of each order case in CRM and the maintenance of these cases throughout the production process

* Helping manage the launch of partner fabrics and products for each season

* Creating and managing fabric boards and print line sheets for design and development

* Inputting, maintaining, and organizing fabric library along with details and colors in KSM system

* Manage fabric inventory and library, including out of stock updates/alerts

* Tracking inventory with tailoring facilities in the pre-production stage

* Purchasing tailoring and sample yardage for each season collection

* Reviewing a high volume of emails daily and answering appropriately and professionally

* Fine tuning orders using clear communication over phone, email, and in-person

* Aiding in compiling all development/reference sample invoices

* Record/inputting all comments and noted from development and merchandising meetings to appropriate working tools for all teams to have updates

* Entering seasonal style information into KSM system

* Creating and sending development packages to overseas partners and sample facilities

* Create and maintain material and hardware matrices

* Support approvals and resolution of pending materials to meet deadlines

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Bachelor's Degree

* Affiliation with successful manufacturing, retail, fashion or e-Commerce companies

* 1-3 years' experience in product development

* Experience with CRM systems

* Extremely detail-oriented and organized individuals

* Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask

* Strong analytical and decision making skills

* Highly competent computer skills

* Prior affiliation with successful customer-facing businesses, preferably in the manufacturing, fashion, retail, or e-Commerce industries

* Proficiency with standard office productivity suites and related tools

* Familiarity and passion for luxury retail & menswear industry

* Ability to interact with others and resolve conflict within various levels of the organization

* Ability to perform efficiently in a high pressure, fast paced environment
