Product Associate, Equities

OppenheimerFunds is seeking a Product Associate for its Equity Product Management team. The Product Associate will help position a set of global and international investment strategies, research product and market trends, and support Product Management initiatives. The individual will take strategic direction from a lead Product Manager and work closely with product managers and client portfolio managers across the Equity product suite.

The role will include helping with product positioning, product research/trends, and support of overall product management initiatives across a diverse group of existing and new investment strategies. The individual will work closely with the marketing and portfolio teams, as well as other key business support functions.

This individual should have an understanding of investment markets and concepts. Strong communication and organizational skills are core requirements for the position.

Business Lines Supported:

* Broker/Dealer Advisors and RIA Distribution

* Private Bank/Trust Bank/Family Office

* Third Party Distribution including DCIO, Sub-Advisory, and TAMP

* Institutional including Consultant and Separate Account business

Principal Responsibilities:

The Product Associate will provide support for equity product initiatives including:

* Support month- and quarter-end product marketing update process

* Assist in crafting marketing collateral and fund-specific presentations for sales team

* Analyze competitive landscape using such programs as Factset, Morningstar, and Lipper

* Research product trends and compile fund data (i.e. market share, asset growth, sales)

* Coordinate efforts between departments (i.e. portfolio, marketing, legal, finance)

* 2-5 years of industry experience and solid understanding of investment management

* Ability to learn new systems as required

* Ability to demonstrate sound judgment

* Experience with analytical tools such as Factset, Bloomberg and investment databases

* Attention to detail is critical to success

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* BA/BS Degree required

* Progress towards CFA or advanced degree preferred
