Media Supervisor (Temp)

This is a FREELANCE opportunity with an expected duartion of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

The Integrated Media Supervisor responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the National, Regional teams to ensure T3 Planning is aligned. Focuses on streamlining of T3 / Dealer specific local efforts through technical, media and data coordination. Provides guidance on hand-off of tiers from audiences, to media, to data integration and reporting.


* Ensures strategic operations and development of Mazda's integrated marketing plans.

* Works with a cross-functional team from GTM, Shift and Geometry to determine total communications strategy and approach for Mazda Dealers (areas of coverage: strategic audience development, DMP, display, video, social, mobile)

* Communicates with National and Focus Market planning teams to ensure awareness of Dealer activity

* Oversees the process of gathering media analytics, endemic and local consumer and competitive research for local market by working with National and Focus Market teams

* Works with Data, Technology and Media partners to ensure all data is flowing across Tiers

* Ensures all pertinent media information is being communicated to the appropriate client teams

* Works closely with traditional media buying teams to ensure media plans are implemented according to plan details

* Works with analytics teams to ensure all tagging, reporting dashboards and attribution analysis is set up across Tiers

* Knowledge & Skills:

* Preferred knowledge of: Heavy digital knowledge, Oracle DMP, Visual IQ or Attribution tools, Tagging and Trafficking process, Data buying and structuring

* Demonstrated ability to lead others, share experiences, and grow a team of media professionals

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for frequent contacts with internal client teams and external stakeholders

* Analytical ability to develop comprehensive media strategies, evaluate alternative approaches, and determine the most effective approach for the client while staying within budgetary guidelines

* Significant organizational skills to work effectively in an advanced paced environment demanding quick responses

* Strong presentation skills and negotiation skills required to support the needs of the client and various regional dealer groups

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferre

* 3-5 years of digital media planning/buying experience

* Minimum of two years prior mentorship experience

* Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities
