HRBP - East Coast Space Support

As the HR Business Partner - East, you will work with the people operations, talent acquisition, and learning and development teams to deliver on strategic initiatives that support our space operations. You will work closely with operations partners to build and implement HR solutions (e.g., talent, engagement, compensation) across the expanding markets. You have an ability to drive transformation and performance through our team members. You bring a unique combination of HR problem solving and foundation building to support our quickly growing workforce at The Wing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP:
  • Collaborates with operations partners to ensure talent strategies are connected to key business objectives
  • Identify + diagnose talent, provide recommendations around talent needs and business opportunities, and implement talent solutions

  • HUMAN RESOURCES:
  • Mitigate risk through the development, improvement, and implementation of HR compliance processes to oversee employee conduct, performance, and dispute resolution
  • May include leading employee investigations and ensure appropriate outcomes and follow-up

  • TALENT MANAGEMENT:
  • Lead process to identify high potential talent and ensure their continued development and advancement
  • Lead talent calibration efforts to ensure a nimble and high-performing culture
  • Partner with leaders to ensure a solid succession plan is in place for all critical roles
  • Develop and partner to lead training across multiple levels and topics
  • Serve as an advisor and coach to business leaders and managers around hiring needs, people management, and development
  • Support the New Space Opening Strategy with people needs assessments and placement

  • TEAM CULTURE: 
  • Analyze data and trends in turnover reporting to improve regional retention and engagement
  • Assess culture and develop action plans to ensure a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace

  • TEAM MEMBER RELATIONS:
  • Ensure local People practices are in compliance with the company handbook, federal, state and local laws
  • Support total rewards initiatives through education, implementation, and follow-up
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations and insights to the leadership team
  • Analyze root cause to reduce future risk

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in an HR Business Partner role
  • Experience working with a multi-state employer and large hourly population
  • Prior hospitality experience
  • Ability to navigate complexity in a regional capacity and successfully lead change initiatives
  • Experience with large, company-wide program implementation
  • Experience developing and managing performance management systems
  • Experienced in building business partnerships, investing in relationships, and quickly building trust amongst teams and leaders
  • Results-driven, intrinsically motivated individual with a passion for people and business

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, keynote/PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel as needed - minimum 50% of the time
