HR Generalist

ACME Corporation New York, NY

We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist with minimum three years human resources experience.


* Conducts orientation meetings to explain benefits to new hires.

* Handle and enter all status changes into HRIS and advises payroll administrator.

* Responsible for implementation of all benefit programs.

* Leads Safety Committee.

* Responsible for entering personnel information into the HRIS system and filing of information

* Process forms relating to employee group insurance, workers compensation, unemployment insurance, COBRA notification and company equipment, as well as all new hire paperwork.

* Enters and processes termination paperwork in HRIS system.

* Notifies proper departments of terminations.

* Produce HRIS reports as needed.

* Maintain and post all company Org Charts.

* Liaison to Payroll.


* High school graduate plus Human Resource training

* Minimum three (3) years in an H.R. function/ or College Degree in Human Resources related field

* Ability to deal effectively with staff, applicants for employment, and the public

* Flexible, organized, detail oriented

* Must maintain confidentiality

* Knowledgeable about applicable state and federal regulations
