Overview: In this role the PMO Director will architect, launch and lead Net at Work’s Professional Services Program Management Office (PMO). As PMO Director, you will ensure that our consulting organization is enabled and equipped to provide consistent, high-quality implementation and support experiences across our portfolio of ERP, CRM, HR and eCommerce projects. By leading our Project Management Center of Excellence (CoE), you will also provide the methodologies, standards and tools necessary for our Project Managers to deliver white-glove experience. You are operations-oriented, metrics-driven and have a passion for continual process improvement. You are a self-starter who loves bringing order to chaos and building for scale. This position will report to the Chief Professional Services Officer.
Key Responsibilities include:
-Drive the vision and lead architecture of a high -performance, scalable
-Portfolio/Project Management: collaborate with cross-functional teams to define needs and requirements to ensure project success. Maintain master resource and projects delivery schedule.
-Project Governance: ensure adherence to best practices and methodologies.
-People Management: develop and manage training, coaching, skill tracking and performance assessment programs.
-Risk Management: identify and manage risks across a large, active portfolio of projects.
-Systems Owner: optimize or replace our key systems (Changepoint, Smartsheet, Dynamics, ConnectWise) to better manage project setup, tracking, resource scheduling and time/expenses.
-Metrics and KPIs: define and automate the collection and reporting of key business metrics (e.g., project accounting, utilization, profitability) to provide executive insight into our services operations.
-Communication: provide regular updates to business owners and team leaders.
-Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity and profitability
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of project management and program/portfolio leadership experience. You had led a PMO for a consulting company and/or software integrator.
-Experience with multiple software implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
-Strong financial acumen and “project accounting“ experience is a must.
-Strong understanding of KPIs/key service operating metrics
-Professional Service Automation experience is required
-End to end project implementation experience
-Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
-Adept at Program /Project and Change management
-ERP/CRM/HR systems experience is a plus
-PMP Certification is a plus
-Smartsheet experience a plus

Formal Education & Certification
Bachelors degree (preferably in information technology related field or equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred.
This is a remote position with travel required.
