The Director, Account Management provides business consultation, cultivates client relationships, identifies business opportunities within existing accounts, and drives revenue by delivering on client and AppNexus business objectives.
This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for problem solving and is seeking a role with direct and significant impact on the short- and long-term success of the company. Excellent communication and analytical skills, including the ability to get to the root of a problem, are critical, as is the ability to exercise good judgment independently. The individual needs to be able to breakdown complex technology and explain it with simplicity, as well as liaise with anyone ranging from an analyst to the CEO.
- Drive long-term partnership value by developing an understanding of clients' businesses their technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities and goals as well as the advertising technology industry and competitive landscape
- Leverage knowledge of AppNexus and Xandr offerings to problem solve with the client and co-create valuable solutions
- Visit each client frequently to review product adoption, showcase new or upcoming features, and align on mutual goals
- Align cross-functional teams and stakeholders in account vision and business delivery; drive indirect (and direct where required) resources through shared goals and outcomes
- Represent the client needs with other functional teams and provide input to Product to help shape our development roadmap
- Serve as a point of escalation and resolution for client service issues
