Digital Direct Response Senior Planner

Job Description:

* Development of actionable media recommendations based on client goals, consumer insights, best practices and syndicated research, other tools

* Development and presentation of media presentations to clients

* Lead and coach planners / buyers to ensure “best possible” rates, utilizing historical pricing and ROI analyses to guarantee positions and opportunities

* Ensure ongoing performance management; assess plan delivery and performance

* Supervise preparation of client reporting deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness

* Effective communications across team, including with client and internal operations and creative partners to ensure work is on strategy, on plan, on time

* Work with vendors to articulate program goals and requirements; ensure adherence to operating procedures; problem-solve

* Participate in new business opportunities, and identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within client base

* Manage efficient reconciliation of media campaigns through effective management of campaign finances

* Work with clients on budget development and longer term planning needs

Job Requirements:

BA/BS in Marketing, communications or related field; 3 – 5 years of digital direct response media planning/buying experience with in-depth knowledge of display, lead generation and email marketing; experience with CPM, CPC, CPL, CPA buying models. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (use of advanced functions such as Names, VLOOKUP, IF, IS, Arrays); work with pivot tables; Knowledge of 3rd party Ad Servers (DART, Atlas, etc) and online research tools (Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, Comscore, etc)
