Roles &Responsibilities:

TheClinical Research Coordinator is an entry research position, responsible forconducting and assisting in clinical research studies, obtaining informedconsent, collecting, maintaining and organizing study information. Thisindividual assists in the preparation and submission of grant applications anddocuments (e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).

Dutiesand Responsibilities:

* Conductsroutine and standardized human subjects research using appropriate research orinterview techniques specific to subject matter of the research project,providing support to the Principal Investigator

* Assistsin the activities related to clinical research including, but not limited to:obtaining informed consent, screening participants for eligibility, registeringpatients with sponsoring agencies, administering questionnaires and answeringtelephone calls

* Assistsin the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication andpresentation

* Maintainssource documents and subject files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies andprocedures. Ensures accurate, confidential and complete compilation of data

* Maysecure and ship clinical specimens as required by the protocol

* Mayassist in the preparation for regulatory agency site visits

* Otherduties as assigned

Requirements:

* Bachelorsdegree in science or related field preferred, or a combination of relevant researchexperience and education

* 0-2years of clinical or laboratory research experience

* Appropriateverbal, written and interpersonal skills

* Organizational,problem solving and analytical skills
