Client Service Associate - Manhattan, NY

We're currently sourcing for a Client Service Associate, Healthcare for our non-acute/alternate site supply chain division, Innovatix, in Manhattan, NYC.

The Client Service Associate ("CSA") is responsible for revenue growth and retention of business with alternate site members. This is accomplished through the development and implementation of effective account management strategies as well as tactical execution of approved sales initiatives. The CSA executes the sales and retention initiatives by engaging the members primarily through target telephone conversations. The CSA is also responsible for generating and sending documents and forms, and providing analytics, to the alternate site members. In addition, the CSA will act as a liaison between Innovatix/Essensa members and support services and is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to members.

The CSA also identifies opportunities in the contract offering that are of value to members. The CSA is expected to understand vendor contract offerings and rules of engagement, such as launch materials, class of trade and pricing tiers, to relay this information to members with the goal of increasing member engagement and savings.

Major accountabilities:

45% - Account Management

* Engage assigned members to ensure their awareness of the full Innovatix/Essensa value proposition.

* Utilize customer relationship management system to track details about customer contact and related activity.

* Conduct quarterly business reviews to present business trends and opportunities to increase savings, expand contract utilization and penetration.

* Maintain accurate member information.

* Review performance of Innovatix/Essensa and vendors with customer accounts and resolve or escalate performance issues to meet customer expectations.

* Present new contracts to members to include the value to members for contract uptake/utilization.

* Maintain a consistent cycle of contact with members

45% - Account Analytics

* Obtain accounts payable list and other item level details for analysis.

* Identify, analyze, track, and quantify business trends and contract opportunities

5% - Contract Liaison

* Refine, interpret, and deliver contracts and ancillary agreements to the sales teams by working with Legal, membership, clinical and IT

5% - Business Development

* Attend and represent company at tradeshows and/or field member visits

Requirements and preferences:

* High school/GED required (Associate's or Technical degree is preferred)

* 2+ years of experience in account management/business development is required

* Experience in the healthcare, contract, GPO industry is strongly preferred

* Experience in inside sales is extremely helpful

* Ability to navigate MS Office (especially Excel) in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, metrics environment.

* Exceptional customer service, communication and follow-up skills are critical

* Outstanding negotiation skills are a huge plus
