Bilingual Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

* Manage compliance operations for Caregivers and maintain up-to-date documentation in Hometeam's various databases

* Ensure caregivers remain compliant with New York state and federal regulations, and all records are current and accurate.

* This includes: medical records, employment records, and assisting with inservice trainings.

* Lead communication efforts with Caregivers regarding expiring documents.

* Track Mobile Health scheduling with Caregivers. Manage follow-up when needed.

* Collaborate with other teams at Hometeam to make sure caregiver compliance is running effectively.

* Provide reports on a regular basis, participate in quality assurance meetings and assist with periodic audits.

* Identify compliance trends and assist in the reduction of identified problem areas.

* Assist with Caregiver operations as needed: Caregiver interviews; orientation; recruiting events; learning and development; etc.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bilingual is required. (English and Spanish)

* A minimum of 3 years work experience in home care, healthcare, or human resources.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Organized and able to maintain accurate schedules, notes, and records.

* Experience with Health Commerce System, Home Care Registry, E-Verify, and Mobile Health is preferred.

* Outstanding attention to detail required; quality assurance/auditor background is a plus.

* Team player who is able to initiate and manage company wide projects.

* Multitasker and willing to step in and help when need be.

* Tech savviness - proficiency in Google docs & sheets.

* Demonstrates passion for our mission.

Compensation: $38,000. Salary commensurate with experience.
