Position Summary

The Data Analytics Analyst is responsible for providing thorough analysis, maintaining data and delivering reports that are critical to the Global Credit front office. The analysts' efforts aim to provide transparency, insights and highlight risks for portfolio managers and fund heads.

The position will be responsible for:

* Providing an independent, rigorous, holistic, integrated analysis of portfolios and returns across the segment to better inform front office decision making.

* Identifying and operationalizing new ways of deriving portfolio insights through the synthesis of internal and external data.

* Enhancing the segments' risk management through continuous process and system improvements. Support the ongoing effort to more tightly integrate analysis and data management with our technology platform.

* Ensuring exceptional data quality with thorough analysis and ongoing data maintenance.

* Supporting key middle office process as assigned (e.g. CLO valuations).

* Providing ad hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

* 3+ years applying analytical and quantitative techniques in the financial services domain

* Experience developing, implementing and managing reporting

* Experience organizing and conducting detail-oriented analysis

* Knowledge of standard front office reporting & control requirements

* Demonstrated skills in professional communications (verbal, written)

* Experience collaborating effectively in small and large teams

Education and Certifications

* Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business, Engineering or Applied Science, required (top-tier University preferred)

* Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA") or completion of CFA exams through Level-3, required

Position-specific Technical Requirements

* Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially as they relate to MS Excel)

* Working intermediate-level knowledge of VBA and SQL

* Basic working knowledge of Python (familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts)
