Analyst, Search and Location

The Analyst supports general functions of the Abandoned and Unclaimed Property (AUP) practice, such as preparing document requests, other leveraged draft deliverables, data entry, analysis of unclaimed property records under the supervision of a Manager, and other support such as researching potential unclaimed property recoveries, client status meetings, or claim follow up calls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Performs support functions on asset recovery projects, including but not limited to researching corporate history, updating work plans, and updating other leveraged deliverables.

* Supports Managers in the AUP practice.

* Ensures client reports, meeting agendas, and other documents are timely drafted for Manager or review and approval before they or an Engagement Principal sends to the client or other third party.

* Responds timely and professionally to all client requests after advising direct report.

* Conducts comprehensive analysis of unclaimed property records.

* Prepares notes in accordance with AUP standards.

* Utilizes strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills on all communications.

* Handles tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.

* Organizes and prioritizes multiple tasks under time constraints.

* Handles and safeguards confidential information.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High-school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required. College degree is desired. Must have a minimum of one year of unclaimed property or other related experience. General knowledge and ability to understand general ledger and accounting entries (i.e., debits/credits) desired.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a working knowledge of Outlook, Basic Microsoft® Word, and Excel.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver's license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

There are no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

* Standard indoor working environment.

* Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.

* Occasional long periods of standing while copying.

* Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.

* Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients in person, via email, and telephone.
