Job description

Allocator is responsible for the completion of daily activities that support replenishment, sales and inventory initiatives to make optimum use of the Company's inventory. S/he acts as the direct liaison to all retail channels for stock level analysis and sales support.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


* Review and execute the allocation plans based on store sales, budget and buy for all North America channels (free-standing stores, leased corners, internet, outlets)

* Manage replenishment program through auto-replenishment in Storeland for more than 1000 references

* Set-up store sales profiles to create models for initial allocations

* Monitor and maintain store stock levels down to the size level and execute inter-store transfers/consolidations based on performance

* Assist in pre-season buys preparations by defining and providing store categories, optimal stock levels and minimum buy quantities

* Allocate merchandise from multiple warehouses to stores

* Identify Inventory plans for renovation/new store openings

* Analyze store trends, sizing opportunities and shifts in business to affect future allocations

* Project and track deliveries to plan warehouse workload

* Work cross-functionally with multiple teams (Merchandising, Visual, IT, Operations, Inventory Control)

* Manage/support/develop intern


* Compile data and generate standard as well as ad hoc reporting, on a daily, weekly, monthly basis

* Analyze business based on projection and trend

* EOS reporting


* Receive, review and respond to store requests for merchandise, deliveries in a timely manner

* Receive and respond to internal requests from marketing, visual merchandising and other departments as needed

* Provide administration and other ad hoc support as needed



* 1 – 2 years allocation/store planning experience

* Excellent written/verbal communication and diplomacy skills

* Advanced Computer skills - MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with Storeland, Qlikview and Scortex are preferred but not required.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner, prioritize and meet tight deadlines concurrently

* Ability to read, understand, and interpret various Financial and Retail Performance Reports

* Ability to work independently and be flexible.

* Able to investigate and solve discrepancies.

* Detail oriented

* French speaking is a plus.
