The Role:

The primary responsibilities of the Ad Operations Engineer will be to manage the certification process for new 3rd Party Vendors, discover and rollout new ad formats and troubleshoot ad related issues. Secondary responsibilities will be to help define our ad specs and policies, maintain the AdTech knowledge base, document new processes, streamline existing processes, and provide support for Sales, Account Management and Campaign Management teams.

Required Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* 1-3 years experience in Campaign Management, Technical Account Management or Technical Operations.

* Knowledge of Ad tags (HTML and Javascript); 3rd-party ad serving.

* Experience working with video ads and VAST requirements

* Experience working with richmedia and mobile Ads

* Knowledge of RTB platform/specs

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Strong communication skills. This position has exposure to many teams including Engineering, Sales, Account Management and Campaign Management

* Ability to multitask and excel in a fast paced, ever evolving environment

* DFA/DFP experience is a plus.

Position Responsibilities

* Organize the vendor certification queue, prioritizing vendors with the most revenue potential

* Certify standard and rich media vendors across all supply partners

* Provide Tier 1 support for any ad related issue

* Conduct regular trainings with the Account Management and Campaign Management teams on new ad features/best practices

* Work with internal teams to discover and rollout new ad formats

* Research and validate new vendor capabilities

This role can be based at our Palo Alto, CA or New York, NY office.
