Would you like to be part of a global team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by engaging strategic United Nations accounts? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider in the UN System? Would you like to support the UN in developing solutions to advance the Sustainable Development Goals?

As Enterprise Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in United Nations global enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a coverage plan.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Promote AWS services in the United Nations System.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Facilitate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust projects pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption.
  • Contribute to positive customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Significant account management experience in IT.
  • Direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Preffered Qualifications

  • A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
  • A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas, SaaS, PaaS) would be preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in other UN official languages.
  • Experience working in or with Public Sector customers and with global teams.
