Student, Intern - Supply Chain Automation Developer

This Intern position may be filled in Hammond, LA or New Orleans, LA

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Develops and provides support for automation and reporting efforts for Supply Chain. Primary responsibility of this role is to learn automation software that will be used to automate business processes. Role includes assisting with developing and reviewing process documentation, design, development, and testing of new process automation.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide automation support to the Supply Chain Operations Department as needed

Help with the support and automation of business processes while ensuring compliance and service levels

Support enterprise-wide automation efforts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Pursuing undergrad or master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field.

GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.

Minimum experience required of the position

Some work experience preferred.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) preferred

Experience with computer programming and software development preferred

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
