Unit Description

Sodexo Schools is seeking a General Manager 3 for a New Sale located in the New Orleans market. Looking for a dynamic GM to lead the team in innovative solutions to please a high quality focused client. NSLP experience and complete understanding of Sodexo financial systems and standards of operation preferred.

This General Manager will be responsible for inventory, hiring, ordering, financials, training, oversight of the food operations and the management of 50 union employees while meeting and maintaining high standards serving 3500 students over 5 locations.

Sodexo and K12 schools experience needed to be successful in this role.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's degree with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
