Our patients and the community can count on our ongoing commitment the health and wellbeing for generations to come. # POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of the job is to provide staff coverage for the supervision of the exercise activities by the Wellness Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation clients; to lead group exercise classes as assigned; and to maintain the functionality, cleanliness and appearance of the exercise equipment and environment. # JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Required: Min. 1 (one) year experience in Cardiac Rehab, or Pulmonary or related field required. Lic Clinical Exercise Physiologist by LA State Board and/or ACSM Certification required within 1 year from date of hire. Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Exercise Physiology or related field. Basic Life Support/CPR Preferred: Silver Sneakers Exercise Leader (Preferred). Previous team involvement with Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs and group or individual exercise sessions. Ability to perform EKG recognition/interpretation.
