What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Houseperson Lead Supervisor, you would be responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of all banquet functions in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Train, instruct, and supervise Banquet House persons in room set ups, break downs, refreshes, and cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
    • Read function sheets, issue assignments, and inspect rooms to ensure proper set-ups; Grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages and boxes from meeting rooms and placing them in the appropriate areas.
    • To maintain cleaning schedule of all meeting rooms and ballrooms in order for these rooms to remain presentable at all times.
    • Maintain daily log entry of assignments, problems encountered, other assignments given out of job scope and person(s) handled various assignments.
    • Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome in meeting rooms then accommodate request of guest.
