Position Summary:

The Associate Dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies is seeking a highly motivated University Assistant (UA) to oversee market research, data analysis, external program promotion, and project management for a wide variety of graduate and continuing education initiatives. The University Assistant will focus on research to drive the development, expansion, and promotion of professionally-oriented Continuing Education programming as a benefit to our current students and the professional community throughout the Southern Connecticut region. The University Assistant will analyze internal data and market trend research to drive recommendations on new programs and adjustments to current offerings in collaboration with the Associate Dean and faculty members across campus. The UA will also be responsible for developing promotional content and outreach campaigns to attract participants to both graduate and continuing education programs at the University.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have prior office experience, strong familiarity or educational background aligned with a business discipline and proficiency in various research methods and statistical analysis. The hired candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, creative problem solving skills, and an ability to lead high-level group projects with limited supervision in a tactful, strategic, and professional manner. The chosen UA should be well versed in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Prior experience with project management, market research, and business communication in a professional corporate or educational setting is strongly preferred. The University Assistant must also be available to work 19 hours per week (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Hours are flexible.
