- Plans and coordinates all facets of live event recording and technology conception to completion.2. Provides resources for students with special interests in electro-acoustic and multimedia performances.3. Manages the recording and delivery of all Student Recitals, FAS, Horowitz, OCMS, YSM Ensembles, NMNH and student recording sessions.4. Conceptualizes new methods for capturing multimedia content.5. Develops creative and efficient ways of making a seamless and interesting online streaming experience.6. Manages implementation of audio visual production, including camera operation, lighting, audio recording and mixing, floor management, and editing.7. Provides assistance to the Media Production Department Manager.8. Provides guidance, assistance, creative direction, and training to clients as needed.9. Generates and maintains accurate documentation on all project related activities and equipment status.10. Collaborates with undergraduate ensembles and Yale School of Music faculty for event support and recording.11. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and three years of experience in audio-visual production or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reporting to the Audio Visual Producer at the Yale School of Music, the Live Recording Engineer must have a comprehensive understanding of the classical recordings to deliver high quality audio and video recordings to clients and colleagues.
