Mental Health Clinician III - Per Diem

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Mental Health Clinician III - Per Diem for the Child & Adolescent Services - School Based Program at Rutgers, University Behavioral Health Care.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive assessment, psychological/neuropsychological assessment for youth and therapeutic intervention for the psychological and social needs of child and adolescent clients (ages 3-21 years), including development of treatment plans, conducting individual, group, and family therapy, and providing case management functions.

* Provides psychotherapeutic interventions/services in accordance with accepted professional and ethical standards of University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC.

* Consistently performs case management functions to ensure overall coordination of treatment services via systems linkages, service procurement, referrals, patient advocacy and community liaison.

* Consistently involves patients and/or family members as clinically indicated in the development of treatment plans.

* Interprets and integrates information from multiple sources that may include psychological, personality, behavioral and intelligence testing materials.

* Maintains and supervises the maintenance of clinical records in compliance with UBHC and Joint Commission standards.

* Participates in development, implementation, and evaluation of Children's Services.
