Insurance Specialist

Your responsibilities of the Insurance Specialist Job:
•Assist patients with account information and problem resolution
•Communicate directly with providers to obtain claims status’
•Understand insurance terminology
•Update patient accounts including demographic information
•Run reports and distribute patient statements
•Receive all authorization to submit accounts to collection companies
•Assist other team members as needed in the office

You will qualify if you have:
•One year of experience working in the medical industry
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to work and understand computer programs
•Experience working with a multi-line phone system
•Ability to manage time effectively
•Detail oriented and organized
