Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Coordinate management of projects, technical support and training for Sales Planning tools, used within North American Customer Development to enable initiatives, strategies, tactics, vision and activities in most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Coordinate strategic processes, applications and systems used by North American Customer Development, Customer teams, Sales Planning staff, Finance, Marketing to enable business planning cycle, which include Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecasting, account planning, claims processing, reporting and analytics.

* Understand processes, systems and informational needs to provide sustainable support, as well as manage strategic development of innovative projects

* Create and maintain updated data in multiple systems to support strategic Sales Planning processes under close supervision of more senior staff members. Participate in development and implementation of tools that reduce time managing data, and increase analytical capabilities of the organization.

* Assist with strategic documentation of procedures for sales planning systems and processes.

* Participate in sustainable improvement projects for processes coordinated by Sales Support teams to strategically improve Customer Development and Sales Planning processes and tools.

* Contribute to end user training programs and some end-user support for tools and processes managed by Sales Planning. Assist with testing of upgrades to applications, and contribute to prestige implementation of applications.

* Ability to create professional, yet persuasive, PowerPoint presentations, incorporating data, relevant insights and information, visual aids, charts, tables, graphs and short video clips, when appropriate.

* Ability to travel via aircrafts, and operate and drive motor vehicles for business travel, with valid driver license.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Participate in on boarding and training development plans for Sales Planning. Promptly reconcile and communicate changes and conduct team adjustment to new changes. Adjusting to meet requirements of changing conditions/situations. Maintain effectiveness of varying environments with different tasks, responsibilities and people. Render judgments and make timely decisions in alignment with business objectives. Set priorities and proactively identify issues, underlying problems and potential solutions to develop plan of action. Evaluate cause and effect relationships. Keep team leader informed on status of plans and programs, changing conditions, requirements of marketplace, competitive activity, issues and accomplishments that may affect sales results. Strategically organize and develop quarterly and annual plans to drive weekly and monthly prioritizations of key development activities and projects to achieve superior management of business operations. Create respectful environment among team members, and motivate improvement of individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education required:

Minimum of Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

Approximately 1-2 years of experience in business, Supply Chain, Customer Development, Finance, Sales Planning, IT or related function. Experience with research, management of systems changes, tools and processes improvements, analyzing information and data needs with cost efficient recommendations, and conducting business analyses. Requires consistent current knowledge of new technological innovative advancement trends. Requires strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.

Proficient in data access tools and PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint).

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

Prior experience in analytical Customer Development role and training and development. Knowledge of and experience with K-C planning process and Promax software is a plus. Prefer someone who is a power user of Excel and experience with SQL.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Report to Team Leader T&PD Support. Collaborate with North American Field Customer teams, Sales Planning staff, and Information Technology (IT).

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Coordinate processes, applications and systems, which include Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecasting, account planning, claims processing, reporting, and analytics. Analyze situations to identify issues, recommendations, and innovative solutions. Train team members. Direct reports/management of others may encompass 0-2 team members.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Travel may occasionally include 8 hours per day, 3-5 days a week of work time. Travel may also include business travels via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations. May include prolong periods of sitting, typing, viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, stooping and standing.
