Cargill Turkey and Cooked Meats

Cargill Turkey and Cooked Meats facilities utilize state-of-the-art beef, pork and turkey processing capabilities to deliver high-quality meat products to our partners. Our retail customers come to us from traditional grocers, supermarkets and warehouse clubs to provide their meat and deli needs. We provide innovative solutions for their fresh meat case, frozen meat departments, deli counters, and more.

Our Cargill Turkey and Cooked Meats facility in Nebraska City, Nebraska has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Lead Person reporting to the Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Supervisor. The primary accountability for this position will be to monitor production processes, facility operations, conduct required auditing and testing for food safety and quality programs. Attention to detail, the ability to communicate and uphold high standards of company policies and procedures as well as governmental regulations. Monitor SOPs, SSOP and HACCP programs. Assist with writing and review of current procedures and SOPs. Also, perform special projects as requested by supervisor.

Required Qualifications

* Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

* Must be 18 years or older

* Work in a cold to warm environment

* Ability to read and understand/interpret manuals, procedures and policies in English

* Ability to write and document information on forms

* Ability to audit documentation to determine compliance with determined criteria

* Ability to audit processes to determine compliance with determined criteria

* Ability to inspect facilities to determine compliance with determined criteria

* Ability to perform electronic data entry into various computer platforms

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous production or Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory experience
