Manager of Human Resources

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Director of HR, this role is responsible for providing Human Resources support to the Nashville Sales Center. In this role you will implement Corporate and Regional HR policies and programs that support the Company's overall strategic direction, as well as providing business partner support translating the business strategies into HR strategies. In addition to the above, you will play a key role in various areas of human resources such as recruitment and selection, compensation and employment law, training and development.

* Manage delivery of HR plans to retain, reward and motivate employees.

* Consult and influence management on all aspects of people-management and leadership. Focus is on performance management, organizational development and effectiveness, and management effectiveness.

* Participate in the development of HR processes and policies and tools to cope with our rapid growth.

* Participate in, represent and rollout various HR related projects.

* Manages performance management, succession planning and employee development processes. Works in collaboration with the Director of HR to track open items, create reports, presentations and communications.

* Act as a member of the senior management team within the site.

* Coach and influence managers from a people perspective, developing their people management/ leadership skills.

Qualifications & Skills

* Undergraduate degree is required

* MBA or/and advanced degree is not required but will be a distinct advantage

* A minimum of 8 – 10 years' experience in Human Resources with 3 – 5 years managing an HR team

* PHR, SPHR, GPHR preferred

* Familiarity with regulatory state and federal compliance requirements

* Relevant experience in a high-growth service business is highly desirable

* Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make decisions in difficult situations

* Highly motivated individual with strong sense of ownership

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accuracy while meeting multiple deadlines

* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations to management based on trends and results of surveys and reports

* Solid presentation skills

* Excellent project management skills

* Strong executive presence with a successful track record partnering with senior leaders delivering solid business results
