    Position Summary

    The Finance Director - BAMG Consumer is the key financial business partner to the Executive Direct Consumer Manufacturing and the entire BAMG Staff.  This role will have 4 direct reports and lead a team of ~12 employees for all financial processes and analytical activities for BAMG Consumer to ensure continued profitable and sustainable growth of the businesses.  This role will report to the Vice President Finance for Manufacturing, R&D, & Supply Chain.

    This role will have ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the finance team.  Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis.  The successful candidate requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.


    • Serve as a strategic business partner to the Consumer Manufacturing team and the Executive Finance Director, BATO Consumer. 

    • Participate as a key member of the business unit leadership team and Finance function in the development of the strategic plans and ensure business plans are aligned with the overall BATO goals. Specifically, ownership of short to mid-term (1-3+ years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Department.

    • Key contributor in the Integrated Business Planning process in concert with the business unit leadership team. Oversee the implementation of decisions impacting BAMG to ensure maximum goal attainment.

    • Collaboratively evaluate opportunities for business growth as well as cost control.

    • Own the Risk and Opportunities forecast for Consumer Manufacturing in BAMG, proactively identify opportunities and risks to the plan and collaborate with cross-functional team to close gaps or exceed targets.

    • Lead the budget and forecasting processes for BAMG Consumer.

    • Develop, consolidate, and analyze month-end financial reporting providing Executive level insight along with impactful recommended business actions to achieve business goals.

    • Develop Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, determine insights, and distribute to the organization. 

    • Drive process and system improvements (i.e. leverage of Shared Services)

    • Execute accurate financial reporting and lead internal controls, consistent with internal policies as well as regulatory and control requirements (GAAP & IFRS).

    • Ensure financial results are reported accurately and timing and in accordance with established policies.

    • Drive process and cost accounting standardization Consumer BAMG. 

    • Coach, mentor, and develop your team as well as other business talent.

    • Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.


    • Analyze and Drive process and system improvements around financial reporting and internal controls.

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

    • 10 years of progressively responsible work experience in manufacturing

    • 5-7 years minimum managerial experience

    • Experience with conducting complex product costing

    • Experience with S&OP process, capacity planning, capital investment, etc.

      Experience operationalizing control frameworks (i.e. IFRS, US GAAP experience) 


    • Advanced degree and/or advanced certification in in Finance related field preferred (MBA, MFA, CPA, etc.)

    • Experience working in a plant environment
