Largest independently owned DME company in Middle Tennessee is looking for highly motivated individuals who want to be a part of a fast paced, rapidly growing company.


1. Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols. Comply with all current government regulations and professional standards respecting patient care and accreditation.

2. Develop and maintain working knowledge of (i) current HME products and services offered by the Branch, and (ii) all applicable governmental regulations.

3. Deliver equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards and applicable governmental regulations including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines.

4. Contact patients just prior to delivery to confirm that they are home and available for the delivery and any needed instruction in order to improve efficiency and avoid unproductive stops.

5. Educate patients in proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home setting.

6. Complete written patient visit reports at setup and follow-up visits as required.

7. Assist in resolving patient equipment problems under emergency conditions.

8. Process all orders in a timely, accurate manner.

9. Promote services and products to referral sources in the community as appropriate.

10. Document all information necessary to ensure reimbursement for all appropriate equipment, products and services.

11. Develop technical knowledge, as appropriate, of the HME or respiratory products and services provided by the Medical Necessities

12. Implement the quality improvement program to meet company and accreditation standards.

13. Maintain home oxygen systems through regularly scheduled visits to patient.

14. Deliver and setup required equipment in the patient's residence.

15. Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours

16. Perform routine preventive maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required in accordance with company policies.

17. Performing up to 15 stop per day goal including mileage, equipment cleaning and item maintenance reporting.

18. Have maintenance performed on the company van at scheduled intervals. Vans must also pass monthly inspection per company protocol.

19. Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies and procedures.

20. All other duties as assigned


Delivery Technicians will be hired as a Level One until such time that he/she completes the probationary employment period. At the time of the 90-day evaluation period, the Lead Delivery Tech, Operations Manager, and other management team members will determine appropriateness of increasing the level status of the Delivery Technician. This assessment will occur thereafter upon annual performance evaluations. Determination of level status will impact hourly compensation and will be based on preset goals to meet.

Possess high school diploma.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must obtain the driver's license with F endorsement.

Must possess good driving record.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to pass pre-hire and random drug tests.

Must be able to pass required background checks.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Courteous customer service towards customers and employees.

High level attention to detail.

Must carry personal liability car insurance with a minimum of $100,000 coverage.
