The Associate Manager of Brand and Marketing Communications supports brand and marketing communication activities for the consumer and commercial tire and mobility solutions marketing business teams. This role supports cross-functional teams and works closely with enterprise-wide business marketing and communications teams in driving brand and marketing communications initiatives to meet the needs of our businesses. This role reports to the Director, Branding & Marketing Communications and has no direct reports.Nashville, Tenn.-based Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, the world's largest tire and rubber company. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with consumer, TBR, Bandag, OTR and Ag business marketing managers, mobility solutions marketing managers, product managers, sales, digital and communications teams on cross-functional brand projects
  • Support execution of tradeshows and events across the entire marketing enterprise, including brief writing (in partnership with business marketing manager), production and on-site execution
  • Manage marketing communications channels (i.e., Commercial@bfusa.com), providing timely, professional support to inquiries received and business messages sent
  • Manage coordination of enterprise content for standard customer (dealer and end-user) and internal sales communications (ex. The Tread; Life in the Fastlane)
  • Support development and maintenance of brand marketing materials in partnership with business marketing managers
  • Coordinate enterprise integrated marketing planning calendar, including event dates, event prep and related communications; Support all-agency coordination led by Manager, Brand & Marketing Communications
  • Support execution of CRM strategies to serve our businesses in partnership with Digital COE
  • Support execution of global brand activities (Bridgestone and Firestone) in North America
  • Support delivery of consistent reporting of brand marketing activity across the enterprise
  • Provide a timely and accurate monthly forecast for areas of responsibility

Required Qualifications: (Skills, Experience, Education)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or related degree
  • 3+ years experience in marketing, with an emphasis in marketing communications/brand management field
  • Must possess superior interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be a strategic, creative thinker, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task while producing high-quality outputs
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and a variety of initiatives and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graphic design capabilities with proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign a plus

Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience
