Job Description Summary

The objective of this role is to achieve assigned sales results on the McDonald's account and provide support for Lamb Weston corporate strategies and initiatives, through strong, consultative relationships. To meet the sales goals and objectives, a successful candidate will mix traditional selling strategies with quality and process training, insights and analytics sharing, and supply chain support.

This position can be based in either Napverille, IL, Dallas, TX, or Houston, TX.

Job Description

* Develops and delivers ambitious, articulate, consultative, fact-based customer engagement and presentations (supporting sales, training, or insights/analytics) leveraging key insights, with poise and confidence.

* Builds productive relationships and regularly meets with multiple levels of leadership at the customer in order to develop collaborative business plans, using Strategic Impact Selling tools.

* Manages, analyzes and leverages internal and external scorecard metrics

* Develops customer segmentation plans, develops action plans which define strategic and tactical initiatives for the customer in accordance with said customer segmentation and aligned with Lamb Weston strategic direction.

* Maximizes the ROI to Lamb Weston by driving out costs, growing sales, and generating incremental business opportunities (LTOs).

* Supports Senior Director of Supply Chain by anticipating and addressing supply chain execution issues/objections before they become a problem.

* Aligns resources and successfully influences direct team and cross functional business partners at higher levels within and outside of the organization

* Continually monitors and evaluates customer/marketplace insights to anticipate opportunities.

* Leverages project management skills to effectively satisfy internal and external expectations and opportunities.

* Partner with McDonald's Operations / NABIT (Nuts and Bolts Implementation Team) to drive restaurant innovation and Gold Standard execution

* Collaborates with Supplier partners to support McDonald's initiatives

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

* Field Sales Experience strongly recommended, prior Foodservice sales experience preferred

* Prior experience within the McDonald's system a plus

* Knowledge of restaurant operations a plus

* Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, set and achieve individual goals

* Ability to use and apply a variety of technologies and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce and DOMO.

* Up to 70% travel

* Ability to communicate both written and verbally in English

* Valid US driver's license and ability to meet Lamb Weston driving standards

* Ability to obtain a passport to enable international travel
