Sterile Processing Supervisor
EASTAR Health System is a progressive and rapidly expanding premier health system in northeast Oklahoma and we are recruiting for a Supervisor Sterile Processing. Candidates must have a desire to work in a patient oriented environment focused on customer service. Responsible for the management of SPD at Main and East Campus. Provides leadership through planning, organizing, monitoring, and evaluating the SPD departments service level to all areas of the hospital. Consistently follows the National Standards and Recommended Practices for Sterilization, supplies and equipment. Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, department heads and Director of Perioperative services to facilitate availability of instrumentation. Ensures all regulatory standards for preparation, decontamination and sterilization are followed. Assures that the standards of operation of the department comply with the standards set by regulatory agencies, such as the Department of Health, Joint Commission and others.

Education: High School Diploma; Graduate of a formal sterile processing technology program OR graduate of a formal surgical technologist program. Prefer CSPDT from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
Experience: Sufficient experience in Operating Room or Sterile Processing department.
Qualifications and Skills: Must have excellent customer service orientation, good organizational skills and time management skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal.
