Capital Sales for the Feed & Biofuel Division / Remote position

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Reporting to the General Manager of Andritz Feed & Biofuel, you will coordinate efforts to the commercial, integrated and other Feed industries with a primary focus in the USA.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Responsibilities include but are not limited to): Develop, cultivate, track, report, and pursue Capital Equipment Sales in the commercial, integrated, and other feed industries in the US for Andritz FB; coordinate, develop, and maintain Capital order "hotlist" covering outstanding proposals as well as utilize the Andritz CRM program; coordinate application equipment sizing and proposal process and direct customer follow-up in cooperation with the Muncy office; develop and lead Sales presentations and manage negotiations; contribute to marketing plan to achieve budget order intake to include trade shows, association meetings, advertising, literature, and product development, and work with Canada Feed Capital Sales Manager, and guide Territory Managers in the management of Feed related opportunities. This will involve direct interface with Feed Customer Account Corporate offices, Engineering offices, Andritz area Field Sales persons and Feed Mill Managers as well as developing and leading Sales presentations and managing negotiations. Also includes negotiate terms and conditions of sales with customers that meet Andritz requirements; develop key account strategies to assure competitive position and maximize order intake; monitor industry and competitive trends; interface with order execution and Engineering personnel for transfer of new equipment orders; responsible for sales/equipment presentations at association/trade venues; regard confidentiality a must. This position requires approximately 50% to 70% travel within the USA, Canada, Caribbean, and Europe. Perform special projects and other duties as required, by Management Staff.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Ag or Feed Science, or equivalent combination of a related discipline and experience; General willingness to continuously learn and improve; ability to think logically and methodically in order to apply problem-solving strategies with a "go getter" mentality; knowledge of the Andritz organization and procedures; must be computer literate using Microsoft Office package, as well as familiarity with other office suites/databases to include Andritz's Customer relationship management tool - webCRM (for the creation of opportunities and recording of customer visits/interactions and Concur (to book travel and complete expense reports); experience selling 1) Capital Equipment and solutions >$100K in project value and 2) pellet and/or hammer mills; excellent knowledge of the English language and grammar; knowledge of the Andritz organization and procedures, and regard confidentiality at all times.

This position requires well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure in time sensitive environments with multiple priorities. The ability to communicate effectively, at all levels, both verbally and in writing is essential. Other requirements include: Represent Company interests when dealing with customers; possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment; must be self-motivated, make independent decisions, be versatile, flexible, be sensitive to customer satisfaction (includes understanding customers' needs and possess a strong sense of urgency); maintain a high degree of accuracy, work with little to no supervision, and be able to learn and retain multiple skills and tasks; have a cooperative attitude to interface with all levels and departments inside / outside of the Company; must be able to manage and manipulate a large volume of information for several; handle all types of internal and external calls and correspondence.

ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: As a remote worker in a home office and/or occasional visits to a Company office and/or frequent visits to customers requires the capability of working in a mill environment with exposure to varying noise levels and temperatures, dust, dirt, varying temperatures and noise levels, heavy duty magnets, welding machines, and manual & remote controlled devices using radio signals, and exposure to fumes. You must be able to continually lift at least 25 lbs., climb on machines and maneuver within confined spaces without impacting safety of self or others; capable and willing to travel by private & public transportation to job site locations worldwide and endure long working hours when required; must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, ascend / descend stairways, climb ladders; requires visual acuity for purpose of evaluating equipment, drawings, reports, and wear the required PPE.
