Job Description

The Hardware Design Team is seeking an Technical Program Manager to coordinate, develop and drive Hardware product labeling and markings initiatives. The right TPM will help our teams bring on-product graphic labels and regulatory markings to life across multiple product categories including but not limited to mobile, home and wearables. The ideal candidate will have experience driving process and program management in the design and lay out of critical markings on products as well as working across different application methods including pad printing, silk-screen, laser etching and in-tool.


Manage the design and layout of pertinent labels on-product including but not limited to regulatory markings (i.e. serial number, country codes, date, etc.), typography on keyboards (across multiple countries) and user interface icons (i.e. play, pause, ffwd).

Develop, maintain, and communicate key focus points and next steps with engineering, design, operations, marketing, management and system program management.

Work closely with graphic design, industrial design, marketing, regulatory compliance and product management in all stages of the product labeling process.

Improve and maintain processes that can ensure team members have what they need to understand and execute on all objectives.


Mandatory Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering desired – also open to Marketing, Business and/or related discipline.

5+ years of experience in an engineering program management.

Desired Familiarity with compliance markings and requirements for different regions.

Understanding of various on-product printing methods (pad printing, silk-screen, laser etching, in-tool, stitching, etc.)

MSc or MBA is a plus.

Strong ownership, great leader, and team worker.

Extraordinary program management talent and communication skills.

Experience leading cross-functional, international teams and projects.

Expert ability to get things done and driving several tasks to closure.

Experience shipping high volume / high quality products preferred.

Passion for improving processes, plans, and all things that are simply broken.

Formal project management training (PMP or other) and experience working with project management tools is a plus.

Proven ability to collaborate with other designers, marketing, hardware engineers, regulatory compliance teams and suppliers to develop new solutions.
