Senior Compliance Manager - Testing & Monitoring

Deeply seasoned individual to support implementation of a world class compliance testing and monitoring function Strong experience with testing and monitoring manual and automated controls Develop risk and controls matrix, translate requirements into controls, and build test procedures Evaluating design and operating effectiveness of controls Ability to monitor, measure and test core business processes against internal policies and procedures, payment network rules and configuration, and regulatory requirements Validating test procedures against controls, issue identification, root cause analysis and impact assessment Documenting results following compliance framework to arrive to conclusions Deliver value and insights by providing recommendations/improvements around processes and/or controls to business partners Strong analytical skills -leverages data to identify issues and data trends for impact and root cause analysis Strong people skills, including the ability to partner effectively and influence change with stakeholders across the organization (i.e. SBSEG, Compliance, Legal, Risk Strategy & Policy, Decision Science, EBS and Internal Audit) Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Effectively communicate and report out on plans, status, issues, risks, and requirements to all levels of stakeholders Able to thrive and succeed in a fast paced organization and deliver efficient outcomes Drive the value of Compliance as a strategic partner Keep up-to-date on industry and regulatory changes Participate and lead special or ad-hoc projects, as required Qualifications BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field Possess a current compliance, internal audit or risk management certification (CAMS, CIA, CISA, CRCM, CRMA) 7+ years in testing, monitoring, assurance within compliance, audit and operations Experience with compliance standards as they relate to OFAC, AML, KYC, Card Brand is a plus Experience within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Software, Big 4 Accounting or top-tier consulting companies Experience with payments and payroll systems, ITGCs, business processes and data analytics Strong communication in written and verbal, plus the ability to articulate and decipher complex business and regulatory areas with compliance, legal, business operations, product management, product development, engineers, and security Ability to efficiently multi-task, think outside the box and operate with ambiguity and change Fast learner, self-starter that can operate efficiently under pressure Strong ability to manage priorities and projects to meet deadlines Ability to collaborate and navigate with team members, peers, leaders, stakeholders and customers Tech savvy and can navigate through tools, systems and platforms across the Company
