POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior SalesForce Developer that excels in a fast-moving and agile environment. Collaborate with Mortgage Servicing business leaders and is responsible for ensuring we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on their needs. Be the "go to" for users, promote adoption, provide training/mentoring of other developer team members. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, including code written by others and be willing to learn new technologies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Evaluate current business methods, processes, analysis, reporting and key performance and risk indicator trending to identify opportunities and align with SalesForce application

* Exhibit analytical skills that aid in identifying a problem and determining a solution

* Modify the system to increase benefits and usability

* Manage all processes that impact/relate to SalesForce

* Document designs and user manuals according to PHH standards

* Interact with staff of all levels of understanding

* Assist in development of data warehouse

* Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests, as needed

* Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and with a team, and take initiative to find solutions for business requirements

* Develops and periodically reviews written procedures to ensure they are updated and integrity is maintained. Refresh files as needed

* Ability to quickly learn and support proprietary business applications

* Takes ownership for special projects assigned and reports current status to supervisor on frequent basis

* Develops and conducts periodic SalesForce system capability training initiatives

* Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others

* Provide technical guidance to Developers

* Provide thought leadership on development standards and policies

* Become a SME on company data repository, query tools, business processes and Servicing Systems

* Perform operational risk assessment at initial change review and pre-implementation release to identify potential risks and anticipated points for resistance and develop recommendations to mitigate and address concerns

* Other job duties, as assigned

RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Technical School / Work Experience preferred

* Experience in Mortgage Servicing preferred

* 5+ years' experience in Information Technology or Management Information Systems preferred

* Experience working in a production support environment required

* 5+ years' experience in project management, business analytics and/or leading business technology teams required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

* In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SalesForce and have successfully expanded on those through the use of custom code (Apex, s-controls) and/or integration with external systems

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Problem solving and root cause identification skills

* Well organized, paying close attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner

* Self-motivated and able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

* Rapidly adapts to changing information, conditions and/or unexpected obstacles

* Operates effectively in a team environment as well as independently

* Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard SalesForce reporting functionality

TRAINING / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

* Must pass PHH Corporation's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS

* 5+ years' SalesForce development experience

* Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions

* Advanced skill level on software language tools (Visual Basic, Javascript, XML, VBA, Apex, SAS a plus)

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)

* Proficiency with Mortgage Servicing Platforms (e.g. Black Knight, LPS, etc.) preferred
